Print and PDI of the Year Competition Results – June 2019

As the grand climax to the 2018-19 season, our annual Print and Digital Image of the Year competitions took place on Wednesday evening (12 June 2019) with members invited to select their best work of the season. This year the two competitions were again judged by Kathy Chantler ARPS (Chairman of the ImageZ Camera Club at Weston Turville) who has visited LBPC on numerous occasions, both as a judge and as a speaker.

Jubilee Trophy Results (PDI) – May 2019

On Wednesday 22nd May 2019 LBPC hosted the Jubilee Trophy Projected Digital Images Competition. Our judge for this competition was Damon Guy, CACC Committee member as well as leading the CACC Judging Team. Some 30 members and 10 visitors from neighbouring competing clubs attended the Jubilee PDI Competition at LBPC.

Howard Morris Memorial Trophy Competition Results – May 2019

On Wednesday 8th May 2019 members contested the Howard Morris Trophy. This is a biennial competition for monochrome prints established in memory of former club member Howard Morris. It is open to all club members (with no sections) who may submit two prints that have not previously been entered in any league competition.

Portfolio Competition Results – April 2019

The annual, and prestigious, LBPC Portfolio Competition took place on Wednesday 17 April 2019. Entries for this competition consist of three to five prints or digital images to be judged as a panel. This is an open subject competition, in colour or monochrome (monochrome meaning the image is developed or executed in black and white or in varying tones of only one colour). But the images must show some link – such as a common colour, subject or shape – identifiable by the judge.
