LBPC battles in friendly competition and rivalry with other local CACC (Chilterns Association of Camera Clubs) Clubs.

These include the: Bedfordshire Invitation inter-club competition and the Central Club Challenge. In addition, we also compete annually with our twined club Camberwell Camera Club in Melbourne, Australia.

The CACC each year organise a series of interclub competitions all of which culminate on Championship Day and Rosebowl Day in April. The CACC runs three types of competitions:

Single event annual competitions, for members to enter individually with entries coordinated by Clubs:

  • Phone Photography Exhibition

Single event annual inter-club competitions:

  • Inter-Club Print Championship
  • Inter-Club Projected Image Championship

Multi-event inter-club competition:

  • Further Information: This is an annual competition between the club and Camberwell (Australia) Camera Club.  Each club submits 30 entries, usually making sure that as many individual members are represented as possible.  Each club judges all 60 images separately and the scores combined.
