Our third internal club competition of the 2023-24 season took place on Wednesday 6 December.

This was an “open” competition (with no set subject) for prints and projected digital images.

As normal, the entries covered a wide variety of genres, approaches, and subjects – including wildlife (birds, animals, and insects), candid/street, landscapes, architecture, portraits, travel, abstract, colour, and monochrome, and more.

Our judge for the competition (standing in at very short notice, for which we were most grateful) was Colin Mill of MK City Photographic Society.  Colin declares himself to be a “prolific photographer”  who is primarily engaged in landscape photography but happy to have a go at almost everything.  He is also an experienced judge and a regular visitor to the Club.

Each entry was marked out of 20.  The marks count towards the season’s Print and Digital Image Championships (Sections One and Two).  The top performers were as follows:
