The first internal club competition of the 2022-23 season took place on Wednesday 21 September.

And, now we are back meeting together at Greenleas School, we can once again include prints in our competitions.

Accordingly, this was an “open” competition for both prints and digital images. And with the normal separate sections for both advanced photographers (Section One) and beginners and improvers (Section Two).

As usual, entries displayed a wide variety of subjects, approaches, and styles – including landscapes, seascapes, travel, architecture, candid/street, wildlife, flowers, abstract, colour, infrared, monochrome, and more.

Our judge for the competition was Kathy Chantler ARPS, Chairman of ImageZ Camera Club in Weston Turville. Kathy is a long-time friend of the club as an experienced CACC judge, regular speaker, and visitor.

Each entry was marked out of 20.

Marks for this competition count towards the season’s Print and Digital Image Championships (Sections One and Two).

(There were no Section Two Prints.)
