At our committee meeting on 22nd November, we reached an agreement that we should Zoom until the end of February 2022. We also felt that after this date we would act in accordance with the majority of members wishes. Consequently, we are seeking members feedback.
We have three possible choices:
To continue with Zoom only for the remainder of the 2021-2022 season.
To resume meeting at the school, but with Zoom access for anyone who has concerns about meeting face to face. (This will of course prevent Zoom attendees from participating in some practical evenings).
Resume meetings at the school for practical evenings and internal activities, E.g. Di knockout, Di Jury, Print evenings Etc. But use the Zoom facility for speakers and competitions requiring external judges. (Some judges will be happy to meet face to face but not all, likewise speakers) Obviously print entries for competitions can only be as a live event.
Based on the results of this poll we will devote some time to a quick discussion amongst us all (perhaps as part of a members evening) and hopefully arrive at a decision that we are all happy with going forward.
This will possibly be dependant on any revised government guidelines that may be in force at that time in the light of the “Omicron” variant of the Covid/Sars virus.
PLEASE TAKE TIME TO REGISTER YOUR VOTE AS THIS WILL BE THE ARBITER OF HOW WE PROCEED.
