Internal Competitions
All Print competitions are suspended for the 2020-21 season, also because of the Covid-19 pandemic. Subject to that, the club will continue to run the customary internal competitions:
- The Digital Image Championship
- The Digital Image Portfolio Competition
- The Howard Morris Memorial Trophy (PDI for the 2020-21 season)
- Digital Image of the Season
In addition, there will be some “less formal” competitions including Chairman’s Challenges and PDI Knockouts.
As usual the league-style Digital Image Championship (with Section One for advanced photographers and Section Two for beginners and improvers) will comprise six competition evenings in the season, three of which will be Open and three of which will have set subjects.
For the 2020-21 season, the set subjects are At Home or Garden, Pairs, and Reflections. (Dates for the competitions, and definitions of the set subjects, can now be found in the Programme.)
For the 2021-22 season, the set subjects will be Weather, Something Weird, and Minimalist.
