The fourth internal club competition of the 2017-18 season took place on Wednesday 24 January. The set subject was “Night” to which the programme notes added merely – “Images taken during the hours of darkness.”
The competition was judged by Martin Patten LRPS BPE1, a professional photographer, member of Watford Camera Club, and a previous visitor to LBPC. He suggested that, to fit the brief, an image had to be “the sort of thing that you would expect to find in a book on night photography”.
