Back in November 2021, many club members visited MK Open Market to take pictures in and around the market.

This was our first ever “location challenge” and the brief for the challenge was to photograph a set location during a specified period – any style, any processing, any time of day.  The resulting images were critiqued on 24 November 2021.  See https://lbpc.org.uk/2021/11/25/location-challenge-1-mk-market/

The market proved to be an excellent choice for a first go at this sort of challenge, with all sorts of interesting people and things to photograph.  And this was reflected in the images submitted which covered a wide variety of subjects (including market traders and their stalls), approaches, and styles.

Many thanks to MK Open Market and the stallholders for being so welcoming and supportive.

Now the Club – supported by Leighton-Linslade Arts Forum – will be exhibiting a selection of these images on Saturday 9 April.  Please visit the exhibition at the MK Open Market, beside the Centre MK, to lend your support.
