On Saturday 2 July, with the support of the Leighton-Linslade Arts Forum, we exhibited a selection of our best images from our Location Challenge #2.

Our pictures, taken in and around All Saints church, were displayed at the annual All Saints Summer Fete.

All Saints was chosen as a location challenge by Roger Turner (as the winner of Location Challenge #1) back in January.  He pointed out then that “there is considerable interesting subject matter to be discovered in stonework carvings in the church, and on headstones and tombs in the churchyard.”

The resulting images were critiqued by Kathy Chantler, Chairman of ImageZ Camera Club in Weston Turville, an experienced CACC judge and a regular visitor to the Club, on 16 February 2021.  See https://lbpc.org.uk/2022/02/18/location-challenge-2-all-saints-church/.

For the exhibition, we displayed 24 of our images as mounted prints set up on stands in a gazebo among other fete stalls.  Several club members manned the exhibition throughout the day, supported by other members who came along to see how things were going.

‘The All Saints Summer Fete was “blessed” with fine weather and there was a good footfall of people who showed a lot of interest in the photos exhibited.  So it was a thoroughly enjoyable day.

We would like to thank Jo Waller, Mother Kirsty, Richard Parsons, and Lindsay Bevis from the church for their kindness in inviting us to be part of their Summer Fete.
