The New Photo Editing Challenge – April 2020

We are holding the first LBPC Photo Editing Challenge on Wednesday 29th April 2020.

This is a brand new challenge/contest for members to try their hand at. So here is how this contest will work. We will release three RAW images and two Jpg images, provided by club members for you to download. From there, everything is up to you. Feel free to edit the photo any way you want. Be as creative or be as photorealistic as you want to make the image amazing.

How and Where to Enter

Once you are satisfied with your awesome edit(s), upload it in the usual way via a dropbox link that will be provided nearer the time. You can submit as many photos as you want between now and the entry closing date on Sunday 26th April 2020.

• Entries must be in standard competition format (sRGB, 1400 pixles x 1050 pixles).
• File naming must follow the following rule: IMGv[number] [ORIGINAL IMAGE TITLE] by [Author Name] ;
• eg IMGv1 FOREVER THINE by Joe Blogs  |  IMGv2 FOREVER THINE by Joe Blogs
• eg IMGv1 THE TOWER by Joe Blogs  |  IMGv2 THE TOWER by Joe Blogs
• File size must be less than 2 MB

The Winner Will Receive…

On the Members evening, we will display the images online and a motley crew of special judges will pick the winner of each category eg Image1, Image2, Image3 and Image4. Together with an overall winner.

The winners of each section will receive full bragging rights in perpetuity, with the overall winner receiving a bottle of wine (you may have to wait until we can safely present it to you).
