Jubilee Trophy 2025

Last Wednesday (29 October) we hosted the Print Competition for the Jubilee Trophy.

This print competition is for individual members of eleven clubs in the local region to enter.

Previously organised by Milton Keynes City Photographic Society (MKCPS), the competition this year was organised and hosted by LBPC. It aims to provide wider experience for club members than is offered by internal competitions.

The judge this year was Kathy Chantler ARPS, a past Chairman of the Chilterns Association of Camera Clubs and ImageZ Camera Club in Weston Turville. Kathy is a long-time friend of the club as an experienced CACC judge, regular speaker, and visitor.

Members of the relevant clubs were able to enter three prints on an individual basis, and 58 images were submitted.

This was an “open” competition (ie, with no set subject). The entries covered a wide range of subject matter, approaches, and styles – including birds, people, insects, wildlife, boats, cityscapes, landscapes, seascapes, travel, street, portraiture, still life, abstract, colour and monochrome, and more were represented.

After Kathy had made her final assessment of her 23 “held back” images, including 11 from LBPC members, the results were as below.
