Audio-Visual Competition

The annual LBPC competition for Audio-Visual presentations – the AV Competition – took place on Wednesday 14 March 2018. This is an internal competition and the subject is “open”. The rules (and “How to enter”) are set out in the LBPC Handbook 2017-18 on the Programme page of the club website.

This year the competition was judged by the hugely experienced photographer and AV-exponent Les Spitz ARPS APAGB from Pinner Camera Club.

There were 12 entries displaying a variety of approaches, styles, techniques, and subjects (including surfing, re-enactment, military, landscape and travelogue, motor racing, agriculture, and more abstract themes.

The top performers were as follows:

1^st place – “Metamorphosis” by Mike Kitchingman;

· 2^nd place – “The Farm” by Roger Gage.
