Image of the Year Competitions

We finally reached the grand climax to our 2024-25 photographic season. Our Print and Digital Image of the Year competitions took place on Wednesday 18 June.

Members were invited to submit their best work of the season.

As set out in the competition rules, members may enter up to two images.  Each image “must have previously participated in its respective format category (Print or PDI) in one of the current season’s six club league competitions”.

Our independent judge for the competition was Peter Cox LRPS CPAGB, a CACC judge, President of the Tring & District Camera Club, and the leader of an international project to encourage and understand the genre of “Intimate Scapes”.

Unusually for us, the Digital Images were judged before proceeding to the Prints.
